Resolutions (1280x720)

Winning Eleven 8I on PC allowed me to pick the native resolution for my HDTV (1280x720). With PES5 Konami seem to have changed the res detection code and now this resolution isnt available. Is there any way to hack the settings so that I can play at native resolution? Perhaps I should ask Konami to fix it in a patch?

I'm guessing other popular resolutions arn't usable either like 1280x1024?

1280x1024 is not a problem, I play with that resolution

Im using 1280x1024 on my Panasonic HDTV & it's looks great!
 
WOW. PES4 never had 1280x1024. But when I tried it on PES5, it looked amazing.
 
Well this is weird I here people talking about the 1280x1024 resolution but the highst res available to me in the game and settings tool is 1024x768. Anyone got any idea's how to fix this? I've got a 6600GT and a monitor capable of 1680x1050 so that should not be a problem.
 
Hummm.. perhaps my HDTV doesn't support 1280x1024 resolutions. Its a shame that the game doesn't allow me to pick 1280x720 like WEI8 did. Perhaps because WEI8 was an american release they added more HD resolutions because more people have HD tvs over there.

I'll look at the resolution overide stuff in the Nvidia panel but I thought you could only force refresh rates. You can add custom resolutions but I didn't think you could force games to play in a certain res.

I am currently playing at 1152x864 which is the highest selectable resolution I can use. I can only hope for a patch I suppose. Thanks for the feedback.
 
I've sussed it. Apparently when looking at the list of available resolutions for my monitor the 1280x1024 resolution is not listed. Serves me right for buying an Apple screen on my PC. Anyhoo I've added 1280x1024 as a custom resolution with Powerstrip et voila the 1280x1024 resolution is listed.
