Problem with Game Speed

I have just reinstalled PES2008 and after getting the latest kitserver etc I put the game on and it has gone crazy

Everything runs at like 3x the speed it should, not just the actual gameplay but the loading screens, and scrolling through menus etc, it's as if it's reading the disc faster than it should

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it thanks

if you have an ATI graphics card check catalyst control center. on tghe side click 3D. Carefully go through each setting making sure it is on balanced as a pose to each setting trying to maximize performance.

If u dont have ATi grpahics card then sorry
