PES 6 On Windows 8

hii,

i recently boght a new laptop running on windows 8 and i installed the same copy of pes 6 running on my old laptop in it. But now when i try to open the game, it shows a dialogue box which displays "The game is not installed properly" Is this due to the os being windows 8 or any other problem? Please help me

Try right clicking on the games pes.exe and select Properties.
Then select Compatibility tab.
Then select one of the backwards compatible options in drop down box,such as windows xp.
See if it then works when You launch game by right clicking and "run as administrator".

From what You said there then if you have just copied across it may not be in the registry.Would suggest You install from scratch.

I copied the files and the game was added to the registry using setup.reg file

Yes, but still the problem exists. I think the problem is with the registry file.

I googled the problem and all solutions i found was to modify the .reg file.I did so and now it looks like this

Your sistem is probably 64 bit so that doesn't work but here is how you make it work...

STILL NOT WORKING i think i'll have to quit trying and forgetplaying this beautiful game again

try this reg file. double click and then if asks choose run, and then yes.

i just copied files form iso, and then just run this reg it works perfectly.
