PES 2019 Discussion Thread (PC)

hi, i have 3 blackball ozils, should i ditch him and get someone decent?
i have messi playing amf and he's usually an A
would i get to pick from special blackballs or normal ones?
can i go into the trade window, have a look and then cancel if i dont want to make the trade?
 
4.0 Celtic Park beautiful some player scans completed. Now game play AI, I see the double back heel cpu goal is back. L1 switching is as bad as it ever was, 3 hits to get correct player nearest the ball and cpu player. In fact passing, I am facing the CF I want to pass to, 10 yards in front of my player, he's to the side of the D I hit pass and my winger at my 9oclock 20 yards away the control icon jumps onto him and my pass goes out wide. Just multiply that in every game, another about the control icon above your player. I have a player on the ball , cpu player comes in foot in and dunt in the back the ball rolls away from my players foot and goes 2 feet away my control icon comes off my player and jumps to one 15 - 20 yards away SO FECKING ANNOYING. Now in a game I control , I press Pass Shoot whatever, when I am outside the box moving forward 20 yards if that and I can see a defender I starting towards my player I have already got my power bar 3/4 full - shoot no , 1 stride 2 stride shoot for god sake no, stride 3 and 4 shoot no , tackle ball lost. If I want my player to shoot even if its going to hit the corner flag , then when I press shoot I want that player to shoot not run on anothe 6-7 yards before doing so.
 
We Konami say we scan squad of Partner club, how many to they actually scan ? Celtic when scanning was done as CP had a 25 man 1st team squad , usuall starting 11 and 7 on bench. Only 12 of the 25 were scanned and some pretty poor art work rather than scan and I would say only 4 looked like that had been scanned an put in the game.

Not sure did you down load the 4.0 pack I did and it had CP Ibrox and updated scans or some anyway. I started a ML had been waiting for CP. When I looked at my squad to pick starting 11 and subs I noticed several players were missing ? I had installed the dl when I look at the menu where exit is, there was a red button on the file click it loaded it and back into start a new ML all the players were there - not sure if when the dl is complete you still have to go to the edit mode menu and install it again ?
 
looks like my 3 ozil conundrum has taken a strange turn, the 2 new ozils have been suspended from trading in the to be rerelased Arsenal special agent, i've sent an enquiry regarding the last Arsenal special where i obtained my first ozil.
 
The only thing i really do not like is the presentation. After the game they show things on pitch only in two always the same camera angles- it is so annoyinggg

You can only trade in 3 players if they are all exactly the same version.
 
I only play offline , where as you know you only control 1 of your 11 players at a time, the other 10 are controlled by the AI like the 11 in the cpu team are, so 21 of the 22 AI controlled. Q? Are Konami ever going to have the 10 in the human players team that are controlled by the AI until I hit L1 , are they ever going to have them act and react to the ball and cpu players around them as the 11 AI controlled cpu players are ?

That's not true, there are 2 different types of AI players: Active AI players and passive AI teammates.

You always have 10 passive AI teammates, while the CPU opponent has 1 active AI player and 10 passive AI teammates, so there's no difference.
 
If that is the case - 1 in a ML game I played , cpu throw in land 4 yards from one of my AI players empty icon above his head (pish L1 I am doing another thread on) , does not move towards ball , cpu player few yards from it, he moves to it. So there is more than 1 active cpu player and 10 passive they move closed down tackle more than 1 at a time, they act and react the "passive" ones far more than the ones in my team. If only 1 cpu player is Active at anyone time, why do more than 1 move into tackle your players, surely only 1 would be moving into tackle the others would be passive
 
I am on PS4. What are the stadium ID's for Celtic Park and Ibrox as going to try and change hex files on a couple classic teams? Thanks

Disregard......I found them on Steam forum but the numbers were ONE off but got Classic Celtic and Classic Rangers stadiums corrected. Hate how Konami do not allow Europe and South America to be used between the two. At least Hex editing solves it.

This game is really fun with the audio mods for chants and new soundtrack and the I believe 1st golf gameplay mod...It then plays realistically, especially on top player and level 1 passing. anything higher is a waste of time. 1 is skill based and means a realistic tempo. And with the gameplay mod the AI play pretty realistically too. There's not enough dribbling but apart from that it's very decent. Thanks mod guys, you've made this game fun again. It's cool challenge as Parma in ML, I was conceding 3 or 4 a game early on. Then I had to make 3 or 4 tactical adjustments to team shape and how I defend, now we're doing well. There's depth and thought needed to the play, it's great :)

Damn!!!

I was using PTE too.
Just checked the PESGALAXY homepage.
According to the writings in their shoutbox it seems that the DLC updates always mess up their whole work, cause there is no structure in it.
They nearly didn´t wanna bring any patch for PES 2019, but did it anyway.

This is a big let down!

It's beyond a joke. I fixed up an option file for myself a couple of months ago, but decided to update it with the current DP and Live Update so I could get the newly added players, faces and January transfers.

The amount of duplicate players, and managers, that Konami put in their own game is absolutely shocking. Some player editing features are locked on them too (and managers) so you can't even edit them into someone else to remove them from the game, on console. You just have to put up with clones.

Since last week, no exaggeration, I've been up until 2am-3am every morning, fixing something. At first, it was just putting these lists together, it wasn't even from doing any actual edits (they're for my files only, THEY WON'T APPLY TO ANYONE ELSE, but I'm just including them to show the amount of work that goes into this):

I remember now why I stopped playing PES, even when it was good. They do not give a fuck about editors, which is funny, because without them, I wouldn't buy PES again. I wouldn't play as Tynecastle or Merseyside Red. Not in 2019.

I remember now why I stopped playing PES, even when it was good. They do not give a fuck about editors, which is funny, because without them, I wouldn't buy PES again. I wouldn't play as Tynecastle or Merseyside Red. Not in 2019.

Wow... That list! Thats just appalling and confirms what we already knew : Konami don't give a flyigg rat's ass about its offline audience and are just milking the myclub cow for all its worth. I've said it before and stand by it: PES is just PES in name nowadays. Shame FIFA can't recreate that epic PES-feel on the ball and include fouls cause then it'd be all over for PES for me. Or maybe they can but aren't interested.

If Konami had taken Pes further incrementally with the same focus on ML and gameplay from about pes 2011 onwards they would've had Gold on their hands imo. Sadly online footy gaming and micro transactions killed all that off.
 
Wow @Chris Davies that's a lot of work. As i said in the console topic, especially for managers in the console OFs, it is a "right place in the right time" situation. Try not to touch anything until Live Updates finish and edit only without moving anyone. For example if this week Chelsea fires their manager, do not edit in-game. Wait for KONAMI to do it with a "fake manager" after two or three weeks and then correct his name. Or else you will end up with clones, liveupdated and hard-locked managers etc,etc.

Furthermore, this year the situation with managers and live updates is extra complicated, maybe cause of the more leagues, or cause of the MyClub situation where they want to have "updated" managers and same managers in different versions (cause of the MyClubs locked formations).E.G.: An E. Valverde playing 4-4-2 and a E. Valverde playing 4-3-3 etc,etc

As for PTE-team, i am really sad for their decision as all their patches were top-quality and contributed much to the PES-community. But as we all know, how painful was/is always to edit PES, i can understand their reasons, whatever they are. Just hope they will come back sometime, or a new editing-team will show up to cover the space.
Cause besides offline PES , the editing community is dying too.

Exactly. I think they go hand in hand and PTE calling it a day is really a sign of the times. Can't blame them as Konami don't extend a hand to editors AT ALL. baffling.

Before release this year they let the editors know what format kits were going to be in - but I think they regard (the most important) editing as being 100% kits, 0% data.

Either way, I don't understand A) an engine where you can manage a club team and a national team, but the AI manager has to be CLONED for this to happen, and B) how little of a shit they give about duplicate players in their own game (before we even touch it from an editing standpoint). In-fact, entire teams are duplicated - look at the AFC "league" and the Chinese league.

Admittedly, the vast majority of those duplicated teams only appear once (and their players only appear once) when in the ML, but either way, it's solid proof that the database design rules all their decision-making, and they're not looking to upgrade it any time soon to allow for fairly simple things.

I've got two A. WITSELs (with preset face and massive afro) who can't be edited beyond their name, so I've made one into a youth player... who happens to look like a senior player, who looks exactly like A. WITSEL... like when a senior player retires and appears in your youth team (complete with original name) aged 15, with the face of a 40-year-old.
