PES 2010 New Official Update Announced

Konami announced that a new official update for PES 2010 is coming in a few days this February. It will update all club teams with transfers made up to January 15th. Players stats will be updated according to player perfomance during the season. Finally new boots will be included.

is it too much to ask for a total referees wash aswell?

No cause for excitement at all.

It will add less than we have added already, and also mean a
kitserver update will be necessary just to accomodate the
updated .exe

i think it mean DLC ...not patch..
let hope they fix the ref too ... i have to install all 3 PES .. 2008-2010 just to see what is the best ..
and for now PES2009 is the best i think PES10 is good eye candy but the ref just kill it completely

And what a crock of shit the update is. I update more transfers in my file in
10 minutes than they do every time they release these things.

Help please. I made a backup of my save folder, then downloaded the update just to see what it contains.

Problem is, if I put my old save file back then it asks me to overwrite it with the update every time I start the game, which would mess up my edited option file. Even though I press no it still says update successful and changes stuff, all licenced teams have CAPS, etc

How do I stop it trying to apply the update on startup?

Where is the downloaded data stored?
