Anyone running Pes 2008 on thier laptop or notebook. Are ou running the game with everything on High. I want to get a laptop but want to make sure it runs pes first. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I can play pes2008 on all high on my laptop. My laptop has been discontinued though. Look for good specs, you can find them at most companies, see who will give you the best price.

My specs:
Core 2 Duo 7200 @ 2.00GHz
2GB RAM
Geforce go 7950GTX

I play on High at 1680x1050

I play on a laptop too. My Specs:

Intel Centrio Duo 1,66ghz x 2
1024 DDR2 667Mhz
120Gb
Intel 945GM PCi Express 256MB shared memory

I play in 800x600, medium detail.

i play on my laptop and it wont play on anything but low settings, not quite sure why. all i can tell u is tht its a compaq presario. works well for other games just pes2008 that seems to be its nemesis

i use a entry level macbook pro 15 inch, booted on windows xp

works excellent, running on mid settings, 1024X768(800X600 looks too pixelated to me), have couple of framerate issue/lags after 2-3 matches but it doesnt really affect the whole gameplay.it improves after patch 1.2 though

if your laptop is running under vista ,upgrade your ram to 2gb mate, cause vista takes a lot of ram.

I play on laptop;

Intel Centrino 2 duo T7500 2,2Ghz
2GB RAM
120GB HDD 7200rpm
Geforce 8600GT 256Mb dedicated

I play in 1280x800, hight detail.

this may sound like a stupid question, never played pro evo on PC before, but just bought a new laptop with the following spec, any good for pes6 or pes2008?

ATI Radeon Xpress 1200
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Tech 1.6ghz
Windows Vista
Memory 1918 GB

running 1280x720 medium on macbook pro + bootcamp windows xp, core 2 duo 2.2, 2gb ram, geforce 8600gt 128mb.. game stutters if i run it with high settings

Similar specs except it is MBP 2.4 with GeForce 8600 M GT 256mb. The game was running fine on high setting something like 1600x900 until I applied the official update. However after the patch I started to experience serious slow downs. The game was playing more like a slow motion replay often especially around the goal area. I played around with settings and changed NVIDIA screen resolution to 1280x720 and matched PRO setting to same. It is now running smoothly with no noticeable difference in graphics quality.

Hi, I have an Acer 5613AWLMi Laptop (Intel Dual Core 2x1.86GHz, 15.4" WGA (CrystalBrite), 160GB HDD, 2GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce Go 7300 128MB).

Can play very smoothly on Medium 800x600 res.

I bought this from amazon delivered £499 in August. I'm on a budget too and use it for my uni work.

what drivers are you using, and is this on vista or xp?

i'm using an asus G1S and updating to newer drivers makes the game slower as it renders every single person in the crowd just like a player.
probably with this new update that gives better support for vista i'll be able to update drivers, anyway i'm using 1024x768 on high (i used to play with 12##x8## but after updating and downgrading the drivers 1024 is the highest i can get)

Why i can't connect with other players?

I get that stupid message a lot too. I have some suggestions, but i doubt they mean much. The other person may already be playing another? Not sure.

Anyway, i use laptop. Sony Vaio VGN-FE31Z

Specs:
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 with 128MB/Mo dedicated VRAM
200 GB/Go

It doesn't let me play on high, i try and it says it cannot be reflected on due to my graphics card.

Works fine, just depends the configuration.

I use a HP with:
AMD Turion (1,8 Ghz)
2GB DDR2 - 667
Gforce 8600 GT 256Mb
HD 160GB

I play in med-res 1024x768, with 60FPS
