New Anti-Spam Registration Process

We've been getting a lot of spam recently where spammers get passed the registration system to inform us all where to get medicines on the internet and more recently porn too but I think they must be lying about that being on the internet.

Anyway to combat this a new registration system is going to be introduced whereby newly registered users will not be able to post new threads straight away. Once they have made five posts elsewhere on the site they will then get the privilege to start new threads.

Spam accounts generally register and proceed straight to posting a new thread so we're hoping these steps prove successful and won't be an inconvenience to those lovely genuine people just wanting to join our communitah.

I'm having to change permissions etc. so if you temporarily lose the ability to post, I'm sorry but it should be back soon.

anyway this was suggested ages ago in the staff thread so there ;)

You have to make 5 posts

If you have click create new thread in the top left corner
