There are now 2 more modes on the lists, Stimulus and Hardcore Stimulus. Hardcore Stimulus cyles between the new maps and these game modes:
Hardcore Ricochet: HQ Pro; Search & Destroy; Team Deathmatch
Really enjoying it and the new maps are pretty good I have to say. Bailout is annoying as it's usually full of snipers though! I really like the Search & Destroy game mode!
I hope they add the new maps to the normal HTDM mode,
it gets really annoying playing the same map again and again...
they usually keep the new maps seperate for a while then incorporate them in to the normal modes.
They've already integrated the new map pack with the game modes, so far I'm loving the map packs. I already got a nuke on 'CRASH' hardcore HQ.
Yeah they have, it's awesome .
100 things we hate about Modern Warfare 2 by MoozipanCheese
Kotaku reports that four more key staff have left Infinity Ward, including the last remaining lead designers of Modern Warfare 2.
The designers, Steve Fukuda and Zied Rieke, had been with Infinity Ward since its inception, and Fukuda had arrived with founders Jason West and Vince Zampella from their former home at Medal of Honor developer 2015.
According to Kotaku's sources, programmer Rayme Vinson and lead artist Chris Cherubini also left the Activision-owned developer yesterday.
They follow four other high-profile departures, including designers Mackey McCandlish and Todd Alderman, Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer lead.
All eight had long histories with the studio. In its messy divorce with West and Zampella, Activision has now lost all four credited lead designers of Modern Warfare 2: Fukuda, Rieke, Alderman and McCandlish. Jason West was the director of the smash hit game.
Activision told Gamasutra earlier this week that it retained a "deep bench of proven talent" at the studio.
West and Zampella announced the formation of a new studio, Respawn Entertainment, this week. It's not known if any of their former colleagues will be joining them yet.
"We're literally turning on the email, setting up the website, and tonight we'll hopefully be reading a lot of resumes and figuring out where to go from there," the pair told Eurogamer when we interviewed them on Monday evening.
Anyone else got the Resurgence pack? It's quite good, the Carnival map will take some learning!
Yeah Tim I got it the day it came out, I'm not a fan of Carnival anymore after a few goes on it. At first it seems fun but eventually you get frustrated with all the stupid camping kids you get on the game. I'm a big fan of Trailer Park though, and Fuel is decent. But I love the game nonetheless and play it whatever map with my mates.
I use to go for nukes, I think I'm at number 37. Perfect class for a nuke is : Pave Low, Chopper Gunner and the nuke. Personally I think hardcore is the way to go (HQ).
Yeah, Hardcore Team Deathmatch is all me and my mate play. I usually have Predator Missile, Harriers/Attack Helicopter, Pave Low/Chopper Gunner. I had a round the other day when I finished 15-0-0 .
I enjoy team death sometimes but sometimes the games are extremely boring. You should try HQ ricochet pro as that really is non stop action and kill streaks come easier.
