Ello everyone i was wondering has anyone recently bought a maxdrive for the PS2? Or has one? Im having real problems loading the little disc on my PS2 ive got HDLoader if that helps.

Sounds like your laser is on the way out, thats what happened to mine when it started playing up

No way really? It plays all the other discs fine, even backed up burnt dvds.

It seems that a maxdrive disc is a lot more difficult to read than your normal games discs. Replacing your laser is the solution I would put forward

Is there a way that i can still use my max drive to copy option files to PS2? Ive also got a PSP.

Only if you have a cable that would connect your PS2 to your PSP
