Managers' faces

Whilst saving my created appearance(with expression) in the Master League, I saw something like 189 managers' faces in the folder. Just wondering how do you make use of the manager's face in the ML.If not what is the purpose of having them in the folder. Do they get to appear during the game or something? Help i am confused.
