Juventus Thread

I don't know about the others juve fans but im really excited to watch Serie A next season, specially Juventus.
Diego coming for another team that i support (Werder Bremen) and im expecting something for the defence to and a replacement for the left wing. Any names?

Errmm....Lavezzi, D'Agostino, Cruz, Kjaer, Salvio, Silva, Pandev, Grosso, Criscito, Jansen, Pasqual etc..

Wasn't criscito on loan to genoa? he should be back this season by now, right?
Lavezzi? don't think so, coming from napoli its doubtful but possible.
Silva will stay in the Liga, the rest seems possible but i never saw them play carefuly like i would do with diego or any other player atm. So i don't know about any of these.
If some1 that is into this players, better then i am really, could you tell us who could go to juve and who will not and if they could help bring them back to the 1st spot this next season. Thnx.

D'agostino is a monster IMO one of the best midfielders in Serie A; he has pace, stamina, vista, a good pass and he scores often.
Kjaer is one of the most promising defenders in Europe at age 21 he is already considered by many one of the leading defenders in Italy.
Slavio is also a promising Argentinian attacker ( comparable to David Silva ) and inside reports suggest a deal has been made already.
Also Dossena is reported to join from Liverpool and all in all I would say that Juve are building a very competitive squad

Thnx dude for the info.
Btw diego will play the role of the playmaker how is ferrara going to place him in the 4-4-2 of juve without losing attack and/or midfield? Just Sissoko and Diego in the middle? or a 4-2-3-1?

No worries. Depends if Ferrara will stay on, nothing has been officialised yet, there is still talk of Spalletti in the corridors;);)
If Ferrara stays, he will for sure play a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 (Flat midfield) . If Spalleti comes, he will play a 4-3-1-2 I reckon.
(Diego like Totti)

What is Ciro going to use against Seongnam?

That last formation was weird, using a very slow tempo lots of long balls to amauri just to win corners and freekicks for Alex. Really Italian style.
Are we going to see some Giovinco today? Hope so.

Juve are performing well so far, and Diego was impressive last night. Also Iaquinta is doing excellent recently and I hope Ferrara will use him more this season than Ranieri did.

Can anyone tell me about this youngster we're going to sign from Barca?

Apparently, a hhhhhuugge talent. Was voted La Liga defender of the season 2 seasons ago ( at age 20!! ). Can play in all defensive positions and is very dangerous on set pieces.
Rumour has it that he refused bids from Everton, Roma and Bayern.
His exact words were: Juve or nothing!

:APPLAUD:

No worries, btw he signed already Matt. 1 year loan with a option to buy, fixed clause of 11 mill Euros

Caceres will be a good signing for Juve, because he's strong, very quick and very young. In barcelona he won't never settle because he doesn't fit the style. He's not that good with the ball on the feet and he misses so much short passes.

But deffensively he can still grow and is hard to beat on the run. I think that is a move that makes everybody happy.

What formation are Juve using?

Caceres is an excellent purchase.

Yesterday they used:

-----------Del Piero----Amauri-------------
------------------Giovinco-----------------
--------Tiago--------Melo--------Camoranesi
Salihamidzic--Chiellini--Cannavaro--Grygera
-------------------Buffon------------------

Tiago sometimes touches the line, but since he is a natural CM he is pretty much always in the centre. Melo being a DMF, almost never went beyond the midfield. Giovinco had complete freedom like Camoranesi, sometimes it looked like they were on the wings and were constantly rotating. Sometimes you see Camo on the left and Giovinco on the right, it was a pretty wicked formation to be honest. Del Piero was supporting, but barely appeared on the game, except for the corners, the lack of speed really hurts his performance. Amauri was constantly between Pepe and Metzelder, trying to break the defence, but most of the time he was caught Offside.

Caceres seems a nice bet, hope Juventus can take the best out of him.

Btw, is there any agreement with Barcelona, because its not the first time i see a youngster moving from Barcelona to Juventus (Iago for example). I think its just mutual interest but, an agreement on youth could be possible.

He already did against that Korean team where he scored his first goal (which was a nice goal). He's suffering though with a muscle injury but nothing serious says our medical team.

I have a question for you Juventus fans, what will be the most likely starting 11 and formation of your team this season ? If you can think of 2 or even 3 formations would you please give them to me ?

Hmm, not an expert but i could say:

-----------Del Piero----Amauri-------------
------------------Giovinco-----------------
----Marchisio--------Melo--------Camoranesi
Molinaro---Chiellini----Cannavaro---Grygera
-------------------Buffon------------------

-----------------Amauri--------------------
Giovinco----------Diego----------Camoranesi
----------Sissoko-------Zenetti------------
Molinaro---Chiellini----Cannavaro---Grygera
-------------------Buffon------------------

-------------Amauri-----Trezeguet----------
-------Giovinco-------------Camoranesi-----
-----------Sissoko-------Zanetti-----------
Molinaro---Chiellini----Cannavaro---Grygera
-------------------Buffon------------------

Hope that works for you. ;)

I think on paper it is Molinaro but expect either De Ceglie or Caceras to take over...
