GTA IV - SPOILER THREAD!!

Cool, will check it out. Has anyone been on the cable car? I tried but couldn't use it. I think I may be able to get on top of it though.

NOTE - THIS GUIDE DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS

The following will list each of the character’s likes and
dislikes. When you pick up a girl for a date, each girl
will have a different preference as to where they
would like to go, what Niko drives, even down to what
he wears. The most important thing that a girl will pay attention to is what Niko drives.

Whenever possible be sure to choose a vehicle that is in her "likes" list for the best possible results.

Here are the descriptions of the dateable girls and where and when you can find them:

Michelle:

The first girl you meet in the game that you can
date is Michelle. You first encounter her in the mission
“Three’s a Crowd.” After you meet her, you have the
option of calling her and asking her out, or waiting for
her to call you. All you have to do to call her up is
look her name up in your phone book and give her a call!
There are many secrets surrounding her character that
you will discover later in the game. Her apartment is
located in Rotterdam Hill.


Carmen Ortiz:

You meet Carmen via Love-meet.net. She is
unlock able after you complete the “Out of the Closet”
mission. You must go to an internet café, log onto
the internet, and contact her via the love-meet website.
Simply click on her profile and then click the contact
option. Her screename on the site is “SoBoHoe”. She is
awake from 1:00 pm to 6:00 am. Her house is located in Bohan,Fortside.


Kiki Jenkins:

You also meet Kiki via Love-meet.net. She
is also unlockable after you complete the “Out of the Closet”
mission. Like Carmen, you must log onto the internet,
and contact her via the love-meet website. Simply click
on her profile and then click the contact option. Her
screename on the site is “LawChick”. She is awake from
6:00 am to 2:00 am. She lives on Algonquin.


Alexandra Chilton:

Alexandra is contacted via the website
Craplist.net She is available to date like Kiki and
Carmen after the “Out of the Closet” mission. You must
log onto the internet and then click on the ad for
craplist.net. You can then click on the option
“Women seeking Men”.

This brings up a number of humorous ads for women looking
for a special someone…. Or something…. Alex is listed
under “Liberated Woman” and her ad reads:
“Party girl seeks man for NSA fun and blog material-29 (Lancaster)”

You need to click “Contact me” at the bottom of her ad.
Alexandra is unique as she blogs about her dates with Niko on her website.


Kate McReary:

You first meet Kate McReary in the mission
"Harboring a Grudge."
She becomes date-able after the mission "Waste Not Want Knots."
Her brother Packie McReary calls Niko and asks him to ask her out.

Ahhh women, I'm only dating Kiki right now. One date and I took her to see Ricky Gervais.

I been on the cable car now. I don't think it worked first time because I was wanted. I love the damage cars take. I bashed the hell out of this car I was driving, by the time it stalled it looked like a box.
 
I've got Kate on the go and Carmen at 100%.

Carmen gives me a health boost when I call her, the horny Mofo.

He does a long and kinda boring joke in the club live about the theme... and its alright at first. But then he drags the crap on and on and on and ...

Just started a huge brawl



I went into the Cabaret Club
with Little Jacob. Before the show started I shoved a couple people on my way to my seat, and after the show was over I pushed some more people out of the way to get out.

I wasn't trying to start anything - i was just in a rush.

The next thing I know, about 10 people were shouting and chasing me. I started to knock a few of them around but got overwhelmed so i ran outside and the fight carried on there until some cops came and then a shootout began between the cops and a bunch of the people attacking me.

I ended up having to sprint away as i was near to death - and i needed to get Jacob home.

But Little Jacob was the best part of it all. Through the whole thing he just stood there smoking his weed.

i was with him and a police car ran into me and he just started letting off shots :LOL:
 
Has anyone done the "Holland Play" mission yet?
Where you have to choose between Dwayne or Playboy

Not an easy choice to make!
If you have, I did this
Opted to side with Dwayne, as I thought Playboy was a bit condescending IMO, and he kind of reminded me of Manny (as in "Let's go and do this", and when you get there they leave you to it). Whereas Dwayne seemed to be similar to Niko, as in being left behind by friends as well as doing time in prison.
Wonder what the repercussions will be...:THINK:

Also, how clingy is Kiki? Mind you:
She sent me a saucy picture message, cheeky girl (literally)

I'm certain I've completed at least 1 mission for him (I'm currently on the one where you start with a sniper rifle at a building site) so it is specifically mentioned?
 
Maybe it's the second mission (I only did it on Friday as well!), but definately from him. There is a reason behind it, but I won't spoil it :))

What would really be cool, is if you could buy a song via the ZiT service and have that as a ringtone. The $100 ones (and themes) are a bit naff.

lol similar happened to me :LOL: he crazy.

Completed game today taking it steady few days break just sucking it all in.

Definitely the best GTA for me love the choices the game throws at you i think they are great.

The stick out moments for me have to be these.

Definitely the Three Leaf Clover mission was ace straight out of heat made K&L heist seem tame.

Also cant remember guy name but when you have to block off prison van and shoot old guy and your on cliff i shot him and you see him roll down cliff. :LOL:

The choices were easy on whole but stick out one had to be Old guy Derrick or Francis i was saying to myself if i kill Francis no more missions and money (that what thinking at time) and i couldnt shoot old man Derrick it felt wrong. :LOL: so i done an Eeny, meeny, miny, moe to choose who to kill. :DD Francis got popped the guy was creep tbh but i hear you get some good perks for some so its interesting.

I took revenge route so wedding and the killing of Kate happens it was about 7am in game time wedding was at 10am i was driving around and it just felt like i was sucked in game. Its pissing down with rain im in convertible waiting for time to tick by for the wedding i was sitting back and going wow what a real journey this has been and what a game.

Its very easy to like Niko and comedy in game is class keeping up tradition some funny moments.

Why the hell did they put the amusement park in and then never use it?
