Howdy,

I left England well before the whole digital thing so it's one of the few technologies I'm useless about, my Mum's digi box (DION DTR250SS10 250GB) just died so gonna need to get her a new one, figure I may as well get her a HD one this time around and budget is up to £100, no real feature requests other than series link, HD, reasonable size HDD (I guess 200gb up), has to be as simple as possible as my Mum's 65 and extremely un-tech savvy, really quite shocked she managed to learn how to do this one TBH, she doesn't have sky or anything besides freeview so nothing related to that is needed. Preferably from a high street type store so there's a decent warranty, the last one was just a Tesco Ebay store that had 12 months warranty and of course it died after 12 months and 1 week!

So in summary:

HD Freeview DVR, series link, simple to operate, <£100, high street retailer.

Thanks in advance :)

So my Mum's on her way today to pick up a Bush Freeview+ HD Digital TV Recorder - 320GB, £149 instead of £199 from Argos, hopefully will do the job :)
