Flashback coming to XBLA, PSN - HD makeover!

i love these kinda platformers. don't remember playing the original one though.
 
I'm a bit worried when I look at this HD remade, this is not the Flashback that I love.

Flashback is an amazing game, especially for its atmosphere and game design. It's among the few things that made me love SF.
But I recon it could be a pain to play, you had to think twice before pressing any button or trying to jump. But everytime you got a little bit further. This mix of action, adventure and puzzles was brillant for the time.
 
Yeah, Flashback was good back in the day.

So leave it back in the day so we can remember it fondly and not have its appeal lost with a HD remake which will flop.
 
I don't see it that way. At best, it will be a nice little game which brings up fond memories of the original. At worst, it will be garbage, in which case reviews will call it out long before I spend any money on it. Flashback has already had a shit sequel (Fade to Black) so It's not like they are abusing some holy franchise ore something. This won't be a Crystal Skull of games :P
