The Fallout faithful were dealt a blow recently after Bethesda confirmed the Fallout 4 website was indeed a hoax, but now new evidence suggests the game is real and set in Boston. Casting documents obtained by Kotaku for a project code-named Institue include scripts and character descriptions believed to be associated with Fallout 4.

One line of text from a script starts off with the familiar line "War. War never changes," which started off Fallout 1-3 featuring the voicework of actor Ron Perlman. However, this time around, it appears the character will deliver the line.

Other documents speak about a mission set in the Institute--described as a post-apocalyptic version of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass. The Commonwealth, which was referenced in Fallout 3 as being what remained of Massachusetts, is also mentioned in the documents.

A report from August 2012 claimed Bethesda had conducted a scouting trip to Boston and the immediate surrounding areas, launching speculation that the unannounced game would be set there.

Characters referenced in the document include a radio DJ named Travis Miles and an engineer called Sturges, described as a "cross between Buddy Holly and Vin Diesel." The documents also include casting calls for both male and female versions of Fallout 4's main character, and explain that the player will begin the game in a cryogenic sleep chamber.

As Kotaku points out, it is possible that some or all of these details were invented for the purposes of the casting call; and if they weren't, they could still change through the development process. It is also unknown if the project will called Fallout 4 or if players will get to travel outside of Boston.
A Bethesda representative declined to comment to Kotaku and to GameSpot.

The most recent Fallout title was 2010's Fallout: New Vegas, which was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and set in a postapocalyptic Las Vegas.
Its predecessor, Fallout 3, was developed by Bethesda Game Studios (BGS) and took place in Washington DC and the surrounding area. Bethesda Game Studios, which also developed The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim, moved onto a new project in April 2013.

Bethesda also recently trademarked Starfield and Soulburst, as well as Void Engine, none of which have been officially announced to date.

The Fallout 4 release date has been set after Bethesda's PR officer confirms Fallout 4 is in the works right now.
Despite having a no showicon1.png at E3 2014, Fallout 4 is still in the radar of many gamers and Bethesda is finally giving them some good newsicon1.png as they have confirmed Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 is one of the most wanted titles around and there is still no word on its development. This was the case until today, when Redditor GNR_Informant revealed that Fallout 4 is already in the makings.

The informant claims that he knows Bethesda's public relation officer and shared with Motoring Crunch on the content coming from the insider. The passage is as follow.
"First and foremost, the game will take place in Boston, and be kind of a direct sequel to Fallout 3 with a few groups returning. From what it sounds like, "The Institute" is pretty much the downtown DC or New Vegas of this game. Boston is going to be unlike anything we've seen in a Fallout game before, with buildings more on par with cyberpunk and retro-futurism."
"Androids playicon1.png a big part in this game. The railroad from Fallout 3 is a faction. The enemies of the railroad is "the Plantation" - a group who force Androids to farm so that Humans can get food. The Institute is highly advanced and probably obtained or built their own GECK to start a farm."
"Due to complaints about using Super Mutants and the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 3 excessively and going against the lore too much, Bethesda has decided to avoid using these groups. Bethesda wants to make a new "race" (think Ghoul, Super Mutant) which will be central to Boston. Bethesda is currently looking at Lovecraftian fiction since Boston is around 'Lovecraft Country'."
"Bethesda has no plans to reinvent the leveling up system to make it more like Skyrim and want to make Fallout 4 more distinct from Skyrim since of the complaints that Oblivion and Fallout 3 were too similar. Bethesda is thinking about introducing a system, similar to Skyrim, where your skills can level up if you performicon1.png certain tasks."
Cyberland has reported that the Fallout 4 release date is tentatively set on Fall 2015 and it should be expected that it would be showcased on E3 2015.

Massive Fallout fan here lets hope they don't add Multiplayer/PvP. I cant wait for this

I really hope the game is not cross-gen and only for PS4/XBO, the cross-gen games always lack quality and don´t explore the full potential of the new consoles.
