sorry im still here, but I see there has STILL been no patch, and for me it's not worth starting the league until all the craziness is fixed with this game online, no?

Any news on when if ever this patch will finally be bloody released? it was supposed to be the 19th and don't believe there's been any word since...

Online has improved since the patch was released - which makes me wonder how much difference a new patch is going to make. Ive had a few more than playable games that I would put on par with PES6's online connection quality. Seems to depend what time and on the quality of connection to your opponent. Living in UK, Ive had okay games with people from UK, France & Germany. I avoid Spanish/Portuguese/Italians as ordinarily the connection to them is abysmal.

I suppose it depends on where you live, so Italians probably get good connection with everyone but us...

Naturally - theres usually going to be a higher latency gap the further apart you are geographically. That latency should be around 50-100ms more than playing someone close to you though ... not anything as bad as what you currently experience.

Off that point, but to clarify, I didnt make it clear enough in my prior post what I meant about improving since the patch was released actually.

The day the patch was released, the same problems were still there and the patch appeared to have fixed nothing. The online service did appear to improve over time despite no further client patches being issued though. This leads me to think that the problem with the service could well be server capacity related their or something of the sort. Just speculating anyway...

hey mosu how do u play online i keep getting connection lost with the other player? Do i really need to turn my firewall off and my enable ports to my router.

I play with real dvd-rom

All i needed to do is forward the UDP port that is listed in the online tab of the settings program in konami folder in the start menu (can't remember what it is off the top of my head n am not at my pc). After doing that has been ok (fingers crossed):)

ready, after playing a match, we enter the results at "Fixture Listing" in right side of the event, and the other players have to go to "My Fixtures" in player's menu to confirm the result ;)

Just the first leg I think. You're right about the crappy PM system. I'm good for Tuesday nights but we have to play our match by this Sunday. I have 5-a-sides tomorrow night at 8pm and I'm going through to Edinburgh this Saturday. Any chance you can make it a bit earlier tomorrow night?

I am sure you know what ports you need open, so I am going to assume you have tried that. Another really common problem is if you have network connections, that arent in use, still active. Disable any of these in Network Settings.

Cant say much more unless you elaborate on the problem though. Where does it stop working.. can you log in and browse matches?
