Can I buy an Playstation eye at any normal game shop?

Hi I wanna get an eyetoy to import faces for pes2008 ps3. Can I buy one on its own from say HMV or game? Is the ps3 eye out yet or do I need to get the ps2 version? I been looking online at the game website and gamestation site but cant seem to find any details. thanx

You can't buy the camera by itself. It's asically a package called 'eye of judgement' and it comes with a game and the camera for £60.00.

They said that the camera could be bouht as a stand alone product for £25. ok well if the new one cant be bouht alone, what about the ps2 cam? and how much thanx.

If it helps any, the Eye of Judgment game that comes with the camera is really very good. And actually, you might be able to sell the game and the cards that come with it for very close to the price you pay for the whole thing.
