Best way to play PES 6 on PC with modern kits and squads?

I’m happy to buy the game and install a patch. I see a lot of sites that offer what I’m looking for but which ‘version’ is best?

Hey

No need to buy the original game, there's a section here in the forum for Patch installers that include the original game!

There's also some for PES 5 & WE9LE in there too. The first page is a little outdated but in the last few pages you'll find more recent patches.

For current season PES 6 patches, i'd suggest either:

PES 6 Pech Ultimate 2017-18 by 619

Or:
PESWAY Patch 5.0

While I agree that sany did a great job with those installers, and while those patches could technically be played also without having the original game, I believe that owning the game should be a moral requirement (especially considering that you could get it a fine a dozen now on amazon if I recall correctly).

Yes I have also ordered it from eBay.
 
One question guys: how the hell do I keep the ball down when I shoot? All of my shots fly high over the bar.

This game is damn good though, you guys have saved me when it comes to my football gaming fix.
 
Its not so easy to hit first time shots in P6. In this game the power bar has an actual meaning as you can overhit shots in certain scenarios ie. volleys, first time shots. I believed higher shot technique and shooting acc helps a bit on this phenomenon, also if you control the shot with R2. But dont rely on this as generaly with any player you have to push the button for VERY limited time or else it will end up in the stadium next door.

Uuhm.. it doesn't look really complicated to me.. I donwloaded a Pes 5 one from that list time ago.. essentially, if you want let's say Pes 6 up to date as you said, you go to this link https://www.evo-web.co.uk/threads/p...installers-by-sany.67651/page-34#post-3265335 and download all the four separate parts in a single folder.. you should end up with three bin files and an exe.. you run the exe and that's all, it will install it for you..

I hooked up my DS4 to play PES6 pech ultimate and the controls are all over the place. Any tips on what controller to use?

I think any old-school usb gamepad (ps2 style ) compatible with windows xp and above will work normally since you can bind the buttons manually. I haven't try my xbox360for windows controllers with pes 6 to be honest but my old dual analog Logitech (bought on summer of 2005) does the job with a lil bit key binding configuration as it did for 13 years!
Furthomore inho pes6 is played better with the d-pad cross since the analog sticks have true purpose only for manual passing with R3 or L3 i cant remember now.I used to play with keybord for better results :P :COP:

I cant get my Switch controller to link up to the PC - either via cable or Blutooth.

Yeah those work fine, I've had 2-3 of those over the last 5 years. They're not the most durable but for the price they're fine and work no problem. Also as you don't really use the analogue stick or at least I don't so when the direction stick broke I just opened it up and swapped them over.

You can find the same one for about £6 on there somewhere.
