For those in Manager Mode, or simply for those unaware of who are the best players in the game...

For me so far :

Messi - Barcelona
Huntelaar - Ajax
Diego - Werder Bremen
Arshavin - Russian National team
Diarra - Portsmouth

What say you?
 
man, yakubu is a BEAST!
hes fast, strong(like a bull), has good shot power, good finnishing, good dribling, average heading and ball control(1st touch)...

hes the perfect stiker for counter attack teams imo..once i get the break with him noone can stop him, and he never misses a 1 on 1 situation


btw, we should also open a Top prospects thread, ill open and suggest some players.
 
Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi, Hamsik, De Rossi, Donovan, Pizarro (Werder Bremen speedy cunt although slow as in real life) and Pato
 
Cavenaghi is doing wonders for me at Spurs, he's playing right up front ahead of Arshavin and his finishing is excellent.

John Carew is a beast as well

He can finish with his feet and his head and hes big, quick and strong
 
What exactly is the point of a separate best players thread when it's filled with a list of worldclass players like Messi, Ibrahimovic, Fabregas and the like which we all know about? A young prospects thread I can see a point to, personally I prefer to find young prospects myself but some people are lazy and prefer to be spoonfed names (as is their want), but this......

i can suggest a lot of young prospect fro brazil..now it would be cool if u guys could suggest others from europe, and evan engliosh lower leagues

thats a few recommended buys. note players with ? next to them is ones im unsure about there stats, u see i dont have an xbox to check this, i have played fifa 09 quite a bit, i just dont remember stats of by heart ;)

Bale is indeed good at Spurs. Got him upto 83 by Christmas on the second season, he's strong, quick and I've walloped into a free kick from out wide last night. No more Gareth Fail!

Arshavin is a must for any fallen team like Tottenham. He started off at 84 for me when I got him in the January window. He's now on 91 one year later exactly with great control, skill and finishing. I play him as a support striker.
 
I've got Ibrahimovic up front with Darren Bent, who is currently the top scorer in my first season and is tearing defences apart. Ibrahomivic is superb at holding up the ball and feeding Bent.

Fraizer Campbell is also a decent backup, as his pace is a worry for defenders.

Decent shout for Heurelho Gomes, too. Fantastic keeper, even from the off.
 
yeah reason why i didn't put certain plays in was because i selected like under 23 players mostly so gives them like a year chance better to catch up, i think that theres a few gems i'd say of players in my list for manager mode.
 
Only in my first season with Man U. Ronaldo is a god, I think overall he is at 95 now. He's my top scorer with 16 goals, Drogba is the only player above him with 24.

Anderson is in my midfield and has really developed as has Evra, Tevez on the left is great too and Ferdinand and Vidic are defensively at 99 now.

Trying to play Darren Gibson a bit and Manucho in his only game for me scored a hat trick albeit against Accrington in the League Cup so maybe I'll give him some game time.

Tried to sign Micah Michards who's stats are pretty nice just now but didn't succeed.
