I'm not too sure if this is useful to people out there playing WE2008 but after much testing, the best experience online is actually to play on 480p. Sadly and it is a fact. The so call next gen WE IS running on the old PS2 engine for online so running on 480p, you'll get less graphic jerk compared to 720p. I've played with players from no bar to 3 bars and this is my conclusion. Before playing on 480, at 720p, I get graphic jerks when a long grounder pass is made or when there are many people on screen even with players at 3 bars ping. At 480p it is much better but I still can't get the ball from players who is using fast teams :lol:
The "ghost ball" effect still exist as it is due to server issue but playing at 480 really made the game smoother. So try it for yourself and tell me if u agree with me. But bear with the graphics ha... :lmao: it look terrible on HD TV. I think this will also work for PS3 PES2008.
