ATI HD2600 Pro AGP Problem

Hello,

I have a AMD 64 3200 CPU , 1GB Ram , Antec true Control 550W PSU and i bought a Ati HD2600 Pro 512MB.I have the follow problem.
In a few stadium as Drago the computer restart when is go to load the stadium in high details.It happends only in 3-4 stadiums.When i play in medium details loads perfect.I have the catalyst 7.8 drivers because 7.10 cannot install becuse they say that not found my card.

Any help guys?
 
i have the problem that this card shows errors in menus! some graphics and letters are not correct!Also in replaymenu graphics from the buttons are not correct!Also letters ine menu?? Any idea??? But it plays PES2008 very smooth no stuttering, very good card!
 
Are you guys having problems with PES only?Cause i ve heard about many similar issues and most of them are not solved with a driver change...
 
Vrasidas i have play Timeshift,Painkiller Overdose,medal of Honor:airborne all in 1920X1080 perfect!!...no problems.
The issue is that the computer rebbots only in high details...if i play pes 2008 in medium the game perfect...
 
Well if it s not driver's fault then i don t know what might be wrong..By the way,are you satisfied with ATI HD2600 Pro AGP?Cause i m thinking of buying this one...
 
jay jay i did it.I download the catalyst 7.10 and the installer cannot find my card..i have problem only in High details..in mediumn the game runs perfect..
vrasidas i play all the games in 1920X1080..very good.i think it's a value for manoey card.

At the next opportunity, cancel the installation and navigate to the C:\ATI\SUPPORT\ folder in Windows Explorer. These first three the CA_XXXXX.ini - look for [WINXP64] / or the CX_XXXXX.ini - look for [WINXP] and the INSTALL.ini modify both. the [WINXP64] and [WINXP]

Add the bold set of numbers 0x94C4,0x94C6,0x9586,0x9587 to end of the first R6 line after Label=

For egzample:

Under the Driver directory is the XP_INF dir. in this one you modify:

CX_53101.inf

First search for HD 2600 (or whatever your model is) ; that will get you to the area to add the following:

"ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO AGP" = ati2mtag_RV610, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94C4
"ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT AGP" = ati2mtag_RV610, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94C6
"ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO AGP" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587
"ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT AGP" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9586

Now run the installer

I am using an Sapphire Radeon ATI x1600 Pro, after updating CC and my drivers PES wont load anymore ("encountered a problem and needs to close"). I had this problem before and rolling back the drivers fixed it, but that doesnt work this time. Any ideas?

Were you able to roll-back the driver, but the problem with PES is still there?

or aren't you able to roll-back the drivers?
 
I was able to roll back the driver, and the problem was still there. Now COD4, Company of Heroes, and PES all get the "encountered a problem and need to close" error on startup.
 
jayjay i did and now i have catalyst 7.10...thank you...but the game still crashes and the pc reboots in high details in some stadiums.

I must thank you for posting this omegadrivers link.

I'm a bit late to start the game & being bothered by the ATi Catalyst 7.4...:roll:

But with the latest omega driver (plus a little overclocking) & to my surprise :shock:, my very aging Radeon 9800 PRO card (w/C2D 6300, 1GB ram, WInXP) can run quite smooth with res 1280x960 & medium quality set, only the movie playback is a bit stutter/slow down. I'm happy with that :lmao:.

same its happened to me with the error message and i cant manage 2 fix it. im so god damned bored now:((
