Hello Guys,

Hoping somebody can help me.

I have just bought Leapard on my Mac and it has Bootcamp.

I wanted to put my copy of XP onto it. But It says in the instructions you need service Pack 2 to do this?

I have Service pack 1 :((

I have seen Service pack 2 on Ebay for £4 - But don't know if I can use this on BootCamp? (As I would have to insert Service pack 1 first and then 2? - I think?)

I am guessing I will need to get the whole new XP which has Service pack 2 included in one disc - to be able to put it on BootCamp? is that right?

If anybody can help I would very much appreciate it - as I really don't want to have to spend another £50+ on another XP!!!

Any help people can give me would be great - I am completely shit with Computers :DD

Thank you.

If you don't plan on playing games, its much much easier to install parallels and install windows through that. It lets u drag and drop stuff from XP to Mac and Mac to XP in the same screen. I think Parallels allows any Windows and OS, and also lets you choose how much ram to give Windows while its running.
