That Egypt and Libya match was good, time just flew by when i was watching.

Can't wait to see Nigeria play...and also Ivory Coast.
On a more sad note guys. Aruna Dindane has left the squad for time being (may return for some matches later) after his twin daughters passed away :(

actually guys if you want to bet you should bet on egypt couse we have a lot of factors to our side we have a great team and a great coach and practically we are the only team who can stop drogba and eto'o

couse our striker mido played along side drogba at marsille and we have the support of fans or the home ground advantage to see what i am talking about with the previous team with tardilly as manager we lost from lybia in world cup qualification's
but with the recent national one hasan shehata we won them and again in the african cups opening game 3-0 without breaking a sweet

it was only one of them by the way. Still deeply sad news doh :(

Oh okay I see.

Oh well very sad news sto;; and I know what a tough time he must be going through right now :(

but at least one dead is better than both his daughters dead.. so its slightly better news than i originally gave :/

Nonetheless I wish him all the best through this tough time for him and his family and hope he can overcome this trajedy soon and not suffer from it that much on the playing field as he was having great season with Lens so far.

Sad news for Aruna Dindane...he seems to be a genuine nice guy.
When he was with Anderlecht every single one of his team mates loved him...

Eto hat trick. So far, World Cup teams Angola and Togo have lost, but Ivory Coast has won.

Cant wait for Ghana-Nigeria.

Sad news about Dindane's daughter. :(

The matches I've seen so far have been pretty good, looks like it will be a good competition, though I still think Cameroon will win it.

Whoa, Adebayor really has some discipline issues. If he's going to be like that at Arsenal they will let him go pretty soon. He didn't want to start the match against Kongo and he said he's gonna leave the team because he's going to wisit his sick mom. Then the national coach of Togo, Stephen Keshi, said he can start the match and he (Adebayor) said he has a stomach ache. The he came in as a sub after an hour.

Anyways, my favorites are Cameroon and Ivory coast.

Like you DB, i don't actually like them, i just admire their sheer layered lollipop-like brightness.

Is that the new Puma template you're talking about, like the one Tunisia have been wearing too?

Sad news about Dindane. :(

Only saw some parts, looked quite good, Eto'o off to a great start and I like Dos Santos too, remember him in Tunisia's succesful campaign and he was superb.

As for that Guinea top.............oh dear, the Celtic lads will have a field day with big Bobo when he goes back.

Lol, i watched that game. I was going to say, great game! The Ivorians, i felt however, relaxed a bit, underestimating Libya. In fact, what a great move it was (El Taib looks pretty useful, shame he's not in PES) which almost took Libya 2-1 up. Shame it came off the post. Having said that, Allez Côte D'Ivoire!
