The return of post/pre season friendly games. I can't exactly remember which PES had this, but it's most likely PES 5/6.
Pick 3 opponents to play and "organize" those friendly matches before the league begins to improve your team's stamina and condition(have all players stamina below max in those matches).
In addition to that, here is a bonus suggestion.
During the pre-season phase, allow us to "organise" a mini Konami Cup inside the ML.
Basically, you would pick clubs and have the pre season league/cup(who you can rename) play in the same format as Konami cup/league does now. Possibly pick the host stadium where all the matches of the mini tournament would be played too.
