It's not always the songs you already know that ends up being your favorite songs to play. And songs that you really don't like can still be very fun to play. So I guess this will be great stuff.

A little disappointed that they chose Creep by Radiohead, as they have so many more interesting and better songs than that.

The guitar solo on Highway Star by Deep Purple will be insane. I believe that will be one of my favorite songs to play in the game.

I've ordered from the US as well.

The way I see it, for around £100, you get RockBand and all the peripherals. Even if the game wont allow DLC on the UK machines, all you have to do is buy solus when it comes out over here and it will still cost less that buying the whole pack in the UK!

I'm sure it will be fine though - e.g. Minna No Golf (Everybodys Golf) works fine on the UK Machines - including patches etc.

It will only be VAT @ 17.5%.

I paid $169 + ~$35 shipping = $204

Current exchange makes that around £100 + VAT = ~£117.50.

Considering no UK price has been announced yet (and I would expect it to be around £140+) then its a pretty good deal! Plus you get it a few months early!

No I mean surely there is a bigger chance of the delivery man knocking on your door and asking for £50, as thats what got added on when it went through customs. Still, I'm probably gonna import it!

Dunno, I ordered $450-odd of stuff for my arcade cabinet shipped from New York and was charged about £50, but the invoice showed it as import duty, explained as VAT.

All PS3 games are totally region free, so yes.

As someone mentioned, only the DLC might be locked but you'll only need the UK copy of the game come April. DLC may also be playable, it's not been stated yet.

Most excited I've ever been about a game.

It does, it's a user-uploaded movie, a review from 1-up. But whenever you try to link to the address it makes a (broken) embedded player appear, even if you put the URL in code brackets, which I've never seen before. :|

Woah the drumming looks solid

i thought i was Pretty easy before i saw there was a line as well for the bass which you do with your foot

my foot just wants to go with the beat, so i would be shit on the drums :)

Holy flirking shmit.

They're the "special edition" versions though, I'd have to know what was so special about them before ordering. If it's an extra thirty quid for a soundtrack CD and an art book I'll have the normal one thanks very much.

You are joking - that is CHEAP! I was expecting £160+ - and it probably will be. ShopTo have said that this is a provisional price and likely to change. The 'Special Edition' just means in contains all the instruments.

If it was $169.99 in the USA, what sort of price was you expecting for 'rip-off-Britain'.

I've got mine on Pre-Order from GameStop at $205 delivered - plus a bit of duty, still going to come out cheaper than the UK and hopefully should be shipping today... (bet it doesnt though! :( )

170 / 2 = 85
plus 20% = 102

I was expecting somewhere between £100-£120. Not £150.

Are you 100% sure that the special edition is the only one to come with everything you need? If it is then I have no choice but to buy it, I am desperate for the game. But that's a lot of moolah.

Yea, cos you can buy the parts seperately, but the SpecEd is all the things bundled in...

I know its an awful lot of cash, but its something a bit special isnt it!!??

There not gonna be that price, there $150 in the U.S. I think they said they are just putting a high price so they cover themselves in case EA rip us off.

EA love ripping people off, look at all those shitty marketplace things they sell which you can unlock but they'll charge you anyway.

They are not $150 - its $169.99.

I'll be amazed if its any less than £150 - GHIII on 360 is £70 and thats just with a guitar.

ShopTo always do under RRP though, so maybe they will do it for £150 and the RRP will be £170 or something...
