PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

please konami put in cups the choise to put stadiums in cup for example, in copa america can be played in old traford

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

Yeah, community mode was great in older PES games, I still remember it.

There are lots of things that were in the older PES games and got removed somehow (and many of them got already mentioned here):
  • Snow (maybe not for all stadiums but for certain ones, German ones for example) would be a nice addition. Of course it shouldn't only be cosmetic but also affect the way matches are played.
  • Kit mixing. I mean, it could be done in PES5 on a PS2 so I don't believe it would be that hard to do it also now. On the other hand, we've been allowed to add entries to the UniColor file so it shouldn't be much of a problem anymore.
  • Different scoreboards (well, in PES6 there were only different colours of the same one if I recall correctly) for different leagues. Not really necessary but still a good addition.
  • Alternate GK kits. I remember in PES5 we had two GK slots in the 0_text file for each team. I don't remember how they got used honestly (the second one would probably only be used to avoid clashing), still it was a sensible thing.
  • International Challenge from PES6 (now it would be really great seeing that we have lots of National teams more, especially from Africa/Asia). Wouldn't hurt to add some other European National teams (like Moldova, Estonia, Iceland and so on but even Latvia, Belarus, Cyprus... And what about San Marino with everyone praying to find them in the same group?) though.
  • Community: this really needs to be brought back. I mean, having all the matches against friends properly tracked would surely lead to a lot of banter/bragging and that was one of the best things I remember of older PES games.
  • Stadiums: they just used to be a lot more, didn't they? I'm not asking for every licensed team to have its own stadium but at least to have back the most famous ones, even with a fake name (Magpie Park and Red Cauldron anyone?). Also they could differentiate between different "zones" so English stadiums will have a different crowd (in terms of chants, noises, and even visually) from German ones for example, and even more different from South American ones which will use flares, confetti and so on.

This is only a list of things (and probably also incomplete) that used to be in the game and that got removed year after year.
I'm not saying that they should bring them back (and matbe all of them) immediately, but they were just nice touches that made the game more enjoyable.

Imagine if PES 2016 is a polished/improved PES 2015 (improved AI and bugfixes of course, even more freedom, proper referees), with better graphics maybe (I firmly believe they could do way better even than the current PS4 graphics, just sayin') having for example snow really impacting the way matches are played.

kit mixing isnt possible due to licencing issues, Adam said it somewhere

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

imho gameplay is quite awesome and needs a few tweaks here and there only.

most important things to me are:

- ps4 option files
- pc version equivalent to ps4 version
- bring back random team selection, best mode ever (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri1TL3I9-oc)
- real stadium creator

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

kit mixing isnt possible due to licencing issues, Adam said it somewhere
Wow, I wonder what's the reason behind this.

Anyway, as I stated before, this can be solved (to some extent) by tampering with the UniColor.bin file and then manually adding variations.
Time consuming, of course, but still working.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

didn't read all the posts so maybe some points can be already mentionned:

- considering special team transfers policy (Bilbao who only have players from Basque, so maybe they add a field to their players database for this matter).
- retired numbers: 10 for Napoli, 3 and 6 for Milan, 12 for Bayern, 21 for Espanyol, etc ... and making this feature available in ML or BAL so if a player in your career made it to be a legend, you can retire his number.
- youth players re-generation in ML and BAL: since they have limited number of players, over the seasons there will be repetitive names for young players .. so the solution is, generate new players, based on other retired ones, but give them random names by combining first names and last names from the country of the retired player, also give them random appearances. These players will only be in career modes.
- realistic calendar: am strongly with this.
- Clubs World Cup : I haven't played next-gen PES since 2011, so I don't know if they have it licensed or not, but it would be amazing to at least make an exactly similar competition with the same system.

I'll be back when I remember something else.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

This year everyone disappointed with the Pc PES can get a refund, within 14 days of purchase and less than 2 days of total playtime

You can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam—for any reason. Maybe your PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements; maybe you bought a game by mistake; maybe you played the title for an hour and just didn't like it.

It doesn't matter. Valve will, upon request via help.steampowered.com, issue a refund for any reason, if the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours. There are more details below, but even if you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look.

You will be issued a full refund of your purchase within a week of approval. You will receive the refund in Steam Wallet funds or through the same payment method you used to make the purchase. If, for any reason, Steam is unable to issue a refund via your initial payment method, your Steam Wallet will be credited the full amount. (Some payment methods available through Steam in your country may not support refunding a purchase back to the original payment method. Click here for a full list.)

It's less than 2 hours of played time, not 2 days.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

hope this year is the time for the COINTOSS! i love it in the old ISS games and iam sick about always playing as player one in same direction...

why we did not have cointoss yet ?? its a goddam Fifa rule.. ?!

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

coin toss is only for national teams either way am i right? never seen such thing in league games

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

Yes, 2 hours. But those could have been more than enough for people disappointed by Pes 2015 Pc version.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

If the game is still last gen Xbox360 port...then 2' is enough.
Well, it depends. I too was gutted when I heard PES 2015 for PC wouldn't be on par with the one for PS4 but I decided to give it a chance anyway.
I liked it, I bought it and I'm still playing/enjoying it more than I enjoyed FIFA 15 which on PC is next-gen.

By the way, also I hope PES 2016 is next-gen on PC, don't get me wrong. No cutscenes, toned down lighting effects and awful crowd in the stadium (let's face it, crowd during rain is abysmal on PC) couldn't cancel the good feeling I had when trying the demo (by the way, is it me or graphically the demo looked a little better?).

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

FOULS: More variety in the challenges, more mild
fouls with no yellow card penalties, adequate
decisions from the referee, fully executed fair-play
system.
SPEED: Also needs variety, with movement speed
increases and decreases, quicker work on the ball
(especially at the receiving moment), faster passing.
Also, many users request taking away the issue with
one player stumbling on another while trying to
reach the ball.
ENDURANCE: Adding the recovery system, so that
the player couldn't run at full speed from the 1st
minute to the 60th, and get completely wiped out
after that. Basically, it means making a certain limit
for a player to sprint at high speeds, so he can save
power to still make those sprints at the late stage of
the game. Which makes sense in real football.
SHOTS:Making the accurate shot attempts less
broken4 add some variety to the way the shots are
performed. Also, if possible, decreasing the power of
a shot while still preserving the 'bite'. Uhm. It's hard
to explain, yeah.
ONLINE MODE: Adding points according to the
chosen control system (more points for those who
use manual control, less for those with automatic).
Enhanced online-connection is a necessity. Personal
records on playing online against different users.
LICENSES: We know it's hard, and it has always been,
but again, people do want to see J-League, Russian
Premier League and Bundesliga. As well as fully
licensed English Premier League. We're not pushing,
just saying.
MENU: More options added to the Match Settings
and Game Plan. Maybe look back to older versions,
there definitely was some fun stuff there with arrows
and whatnot.
OPTIMIZATION: The game needs to be fully
functional at the moment it is released. Not that
there should be no later patches or DLC's or
anything, but major problems that make game
unplayable should be avoided.
PHYSICS: Enhanced ball movement and physical
contact systems; quicker moving goalkeepers; faster
ball control (no, for real, it's not that hard to lift a leg)
, immediate accelerations (for faster players, of
course), players' physique actually playing role.
MECHANICS: It's repeating ourselves again, but it's
way too important. Quicker and easier movements.
Of the ball and players both.
MISC: More stadiums. At least more or less similar
prototypes.
AI/GAME BALANCE: Playing styles closely
resembling those of the top teams; more variety in
the ways of finishing the attack (like one-on-one
situations, with both strikers and keepers making
decisions according to each other's , other players
around, and their own positions, so the player can
strike the ball directly into the right or left corner, or
lift it above the keeper, or perform a feint, or
whatever he likes, while the keeper himself just
jumps out into striker's feet and falls down, or
predicts him to keep moving and stand on his feet. Et
cetera). More intense movements in the central zone
with struggling and tackling. The stoppers not losing
their position during an attack from either flank,
keeping a close eye on the incoming strikers and
actually trying to block them, not just standing
nearby. Bigger injury risk after being dangerously
attacked. The AI realizing the importance of the late-
game goal and acting accordingly, whether it's
needed to score one or protect the lead. A smarter
AI-controlled coach, who makes decisions based on
current situations, as well as players who might
memorize a common move used by the same player
and try to prevent it later.
SKILLS: Balance. Quicker goalkeepers. An obvious
class difference between stronger and weaker teams,
but based on the teams play, not individual player's
abilities! The difference should be seen in passing
and movement, understanding teammates, not in
certain players ability to dribble through the whole
defense line.
ANIMATIONS: There's no need to explain much. Just
make players and spectators alive. So that we can
believe it. More emotions, more nerve, more drama,
if necessary.
CONTROLS: Enhanced response. Immediate, as a
perfect option. Adding power to a shot or a cross
with a second push (it's really hard to regulate the
power on a first try, please get that feature back!),
performing stronger shots by pressing the UP button;
a better distribution for through balls. In the Become
a Legend Mode - split the possibility to ask for a pass
into a direct ball and through ball, and specify a
button for each.
GAME CODE: Decrease the script influence as much
as possible. The randomness of previous parts was
beyond beautiful. Take out the issues with players
just stopping without an apparent reason, give users
the opportunity to control the direction of player's
movements while performing scripted challenges,
like feints. Sometimes it feels like the players are a
wagon on a railroad, only able to move one direction.
MODES: MyClub: there's a need to reassess the rate
of creating the Dream Team. Adding International
Challenge, Random Selection Match. Bringing back
Penalty kick mode and the Community mode. Adding
transfers to MyClub, activate the Auction mode. Add
online filters, such as Region or Team Power. More
action in Master League and Become a Legend
modes (just playing match after match after match
seems pointless, where's the contact with the team
and fans? Where's the support from teammates and
the coach, where's the club President telling you he
wants you to win the Champions league? More
challenge and more motivation are a must). Also,
addition of the Hall Of Fame-like modes would be
nice as well. Oh, and the feature that makes it
possible to simulate the end of the BaL-match after
your player was substituted is gonna be actually
really good, because, you know... we don't do
anything, which is kinda lame.
EDITOR: Full stadium editor. With a lot of options.
Access to a feature of posting the content you
created online for other players to use.
TRAINING: Implement a system of worked out
combinations to use in a match. Not programmed by
the AI, but created by users himself.
ATMOSPHERE: No black screens. More angles for
repeats. Dynamic weather that actually is reflected on
the field with intense rain making the field slippery,
low shots more dangerous and the ball much harder
for the keeper to catch; intense sunlight causing
players to tire out faster; cold snowy weather making
tackles more painful, etc.
Well, at the end of this message we would like to add
a bit of personal opinion - people once loved this
game for what it had been before. It was easy to
enjoy, very atmospheric, energetic, diverse, its
gameplay was perfectly balanced the menu was
simple to understand and navigate, the response was
instant, the players were actually doing what the user
wanted them to do. Coupled with greatly generated
Master League mode, a lot of angles, tons of cut-
scenes it made up a perfect game to play, which
didn't nearly have the graphics and engine the game
has now, but somehow felt much more realistic. We
do hope that there is a way to get those emotions
back, that there is a way to go forward while
preserving the best from the past, that there is a way
to make a user launch the game and sit there playing
it for good 6-8 hours - maybe challenging people just
like him, maybe training, maybe even creating his
own team.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

12 things pes 2016 needs to be the best sports game
ever made:1:LICENCES:we fans of this series have
demanded for a very long time the rights to barclays
pl,bundesliga,turkey super lig,seria a Tim etc.to be
licensed.even if the league is not licensed, the clubs
or top 10 clubs from the leagues could be licensed,in
cluding real captain bands,referees,continental
competitions,if EA holds the epl,why don't you guys
hold the laliga just like in pes 2013.
2:REAL OFFICIAL LEAGUE TV PRESENTATION:Every
match centered around a particular league should
get its own TV style presentation and nt like the
generic ones of previous pes,la liga matches should
look and feel like real life la liga matches, the way the
EREDIVISE presentation should differ from the sirea a
presentation, just like the uefa champions league in
pes is very realistic.national super cups should get its
own also.
3:BALLBOYS SHOUlD BE ADDED:ballboys should be
added to prevent skipping or blackout whenever the
ball goes out of play, mimic fifa 15 on that.
4:EMOTIONAL FACE CHANEGES:Player faces should
change when they kick the ball or make tackles so as
to make it more realistic, emulate fifa15 on that also
5:EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ANIMATED:Bring back
face scans for realistic moving hairs, eyes and 3d
moving cornerflags nd animated LED nets.
6:REALISTIC ATHMOSPHERE:Realistic weather effects
nd pains, players should feel pains nd cuts in their
bodies,e.g:when a player makes a sliding tackle while
a goalkeeper leaps to catch a ball and they collide, the
latter should feel the pipain, that's how keepers get
injured, players should sweat more under the sun
depending on how they played, their jerseys should
get wet with sweat. And weathers should have a
realistic effects, and it should drop on the pitch and
on the bodies of the players just like in mgs phantom
pain, new injuries and refree animations should be
added, you can add all injury and refree animations
from previous pes editions e.g refree giving out cards
animations,seperating confrontations between
players like in 2013,nd injured players should be
taken on stretchers etc
7:NEW DETAILS AND CROWED SUPPORT:when losing
a match, fans should sing club songs and
chantsaccording to time and course of the match e.g
when losing 1_0 at half time ,the crowd chants should
differ from when losing 2_0 at 2nd half,(just like the
crowd support in pes 2014 edit mode)real coaches
should be on the stands and their reactions should
be shown when ever sumthing happens and they
should shake hands when the match is over.player
emotions should be shown like in real life
8:REALISTIC PLAYER MODELS:Tatoos should appear
on the bodies of players jst like in real life, fine hairs
should be on their bodies.
9:MORE ANIMATIONS:shirt pulling,players shirt
should get untucked depending on how he
moved, tired players should slow down or bend over
to breathe, injured players should walk and run like
they are injured :see fifa 11 on ps2:,players should
wipe sweats off their faces, they should fall
realistically.manager animations more than in 2013
10:REALISTIC MASTER LEAGUE AND WEATHER
CYCLE:pls remove that short transfer window and
add a realistic one and the 4 man bid per window
should be destroyed.imagine I had to skip two
windows out of 8 jst for 4 players, its so
annoying.there seems to be no injuries, suspensions
or bookings when you skip a match, its just
annoying.even if there was an injury, the player is
always fit for the nxt match.repair those silly
mistakes.player values are too low, messi was around
10 to 15 million unless he reaches 35years he can be
30 35 million.its just annoying.the weather options
need change cos the current ones makes the game
tooo predictable,rain,snow,sun,should be changed to
winter,summer,spring,,day night should be changed
to real tiime 00.00_24.00,when playing a match on
rain,it shouldn't rain for 90 mins,when playing a
match from 6.00pm,the realistic sky should change
as the match progresses,it should get darker.
11:NEW REPLAY/CELEBRATION/HIGHLIGHT/
COMMENTARY SYSTEM:top things that happened in a
match should be shown e.g
dribbles,tackles,fouls,reactions of both players and
coach,injuries,skills,fights etc.when I was leading real
betis 5_0 in pes 2015,it was all a 5 man
celebration, they pulled one back and instead of
celebrating like ppl who are still behind, they
celebrated as if they just got in front which is supet
unrealistic,in pes 2013,when they are two goals down
and manage to pull one back, they picked up the ball
and dropped it at the centerfield, game on.in pes
2015.there should be a 10 or 11 man celebration,AI
seems to always play a ground placed shot, they
never play a shot in the top corner which is also
unrealistic,new realistic commentaries(I recomend
ray Hudson)club rivalrieS should be so special .
12:last features:all 20 laliga stadiums,at least 5 Italian
stadiums,5 epl stadiums,bundesliga
stadiums.stadium preview should be added,each
league shuld have its own president so that he can
hand the trophies to its winners including UCL.new
real life skills shuld be added, new realistic replay
angles, players shuld take off shirts when they scored
a winning goal or a title saving equaliser, boots
should move out of players feet.thanks for reading
and understanding.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

great arsenal is licensed :APPLAUD:

just kidding...

for me pes 2015 on PC looked really good, play on 4k with mods and sweetFX,it look much better than PS4 (just gameplay cam)

The GFX is last thing i worry about pes2016!

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

Wow, licensed vintage balls! Will we get rid of all those "PES/WE Classic XYZ" balls then? :BOP:

...and it also screams "THE GOOD OLD PES4 MAGIC" everywhere!

:KING:

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

@ J dilla .. I dont think its at all funny to post silly pictures of older games for sarcasm this is a serious thread for new features, we dont need anything to bring it down thanks.

New upgrade pitches leaked, looks like they are enhancing to PC what they have for PS4 and above:

First screenshot of PES 2016 PC version:

That gameplay and PES 2015 Graphics, is that so hard for konami doing this? :D
My suggestion for PES 2016 is adding the CAF Champions League and take of one clone Copa Sudamérica OFF.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

What they need to recreate is by no means the gameplay of older PES titles (as it now is outdated and many things that were the best you could achieve with those times' technology are now deprecated), but the feeling.

In those games you felt like you were on the pitch (because they offered the best available gaming experience for that time).
But times move on and so does technology. Having a game that plays exactly like PES 4 (because this is the meaning of gameplay to me) is unacceptable in 2015.
The immersion you felt back in the days, that's what they need to recreate (with control responsiveness, player awareness especially the IA-controlled ones and well, graphics/sounds which will surely help to give a sense of immersion).

8-way movement (well, actually 16-way with the 'dash' button pressed) and assisted passes without the chance to go manual?
No thanks.

The players don´t read the passes we made. Everytime they are off is own position.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

That's why I talked about "awareness": either players and keepers need to be more aware about the ball and about teammates/opponents.
I mean, keepers for example are way better than they were in PES 2014 but there's still the occasional moment when they perform a save, wake up and blankly stare ahead for a second begore getting back in the match.
This shouldn't happen.

Re: PES2016 - Discussion & Wishlists

and its use same engine as consoles version..:SNACK:
Yeah, I've read it too in the game's Google Play page. They say it's an "optimized PES 2015 engine from console".
I should've missed the release of PES 2015 for Sega MegaDrive then.
