Football Kingdom [PS2]

Its not so much that people are afraid, its that theyve adapted to a superior game... so games that arent good or as good turn out to be shit. I for one cant play FK because it doesnt meet the expectations we have that come from WE.

Fernando's Football Kingdom English Patch v0.001

Hello everybody,

Just made this tiny tiny patch just to see how the translation process was with this game.

Thanks to Polter 2k for the continuos support and again, its good to be back while we all wait for WE8!!!!!!!

PD: the patch contains Kingsly work (i beleive as i got the patch froma friend) To whoever the player's names patch belong please contact me at WinningEleven.com or Evo forums. I think the 99% is his work as mine doesnt show up much for now, even tough its a lot of text translated.
My apologies if you don't what you work in this one.

Only in the Kingdom League Mode...

The single patch I recommend to place it to those who does not even place the one of Kingsly... because this so far single one adds few words but. If you already have installed the one of Kingsly it waits for the next version.

I must say this game is quite fun it isnt W11 ofcourse but its fun to play especially with friends cause the cpu defence is too weak and yours too strong for the cpu ;)

but i must admit the penalty system is great !

btw does anybody know if you can play a exhibition penalty kick match ?

Well i had some time to continue on the FK translation and here the result.

- Most Options and Pause menu Completed
- Some Stadiums Names
- ALL the National TEAMS names in English
- Like 2 or 3 Club names
- Stuff here and there

There's a lot to do but i will continue asap.
This one well worth a CD

Could someone give me a quick review of this game?
Whats it like? Is it any better that PES3/WE7?

The majority consensus is that it is poorer than We7, but still fun enough to keep your interest for a couple of weeks. Some would say it is better than WE7.

to be accurate, the thru balls are better becuase there is a power meter, and the crosses are quite nice. But overall I think the gameplay is not as nice as WE7. I dont like the lack of control over jukes and shimmy moves, and it seems like playing defense is too hard against an opponent who just passes all the time like a pinball machine.

In the games, defense, it is fun to play anyway, especially against buddies because nobody has mastered it yet and it is somthing different.

Free kicks are much better, too.

I would guess there would be another one. Hopefully would kits? Is this worth a whole new cd after v0.002?
