Storyline

Survive, Adapt, Win
After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces. On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched. A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines. However, the mission is compromised and the task force destroyed, leaving Cpt. Scott Miller washed ashore upon the hostile island. In his effort to carry out the mission, he will face the dangers of modern warfare, an unforgiving environment, and the consequences of his own decisions...

1) Is the AI sorted so it can't see you through the vegetation?
2) Is it going to run well on medium-high PC setups?

Don't start with the screenshots again Jonney.

Spoiler them or use thumbnails!

Re: Arma 3 announced - PC 2012

Well it's not a never, carrier command is coming out on PC and 360 so if that goes well it increases the chances of there being a 360 Arma some day :)

Re: Arma 3 announced - PC 2012

innit. dont get me wrong, i would love to see games like this do well in consoles and pc's but the fact is that many prefer COD bulshit games

Re: Arma 3 announced - PC 2012

Anyone know if this will be a bit more accessible than ARMA 2? Not dumbed down but easier to get into.

Re: Arma 3 announced - PC 2012

I believe it's confirmed they will be trying to make the game more accessible to first time Arma gamers :)

LOL does that point back to me? I got lost somewhere in the relationship maze ;)

If I have some Alpha lite invites to give away and I'm feeling generous I'll see about offering some in here :)

Re: Arma 3 announced - PC 2012

I wouldn't rule out a next gen version, the PS4 specs aren't actually that bad. The game would play really bad on a controller but the PS4 could def run Arma 3, and I am pretty sure they could find a relatively good solution to get it working well.

The only problem with it is Arma 2 is massive on mods and addons, so the consoles would lose 75% of what Arma is about.
