Questions about edit mode

I have some questions about edit mode as I'v just gotten back into PES.

1. With the recent DLC of Copa Libertadores 2012, why can't you access these teams in edit mode and only access the 2011 version? I'd love to get Ronaldinho from it for Brazil.

2. Is there no PC tool for the PS3 version to edit your edit file like in the PS2 days and PC do? It would be so much quicker changing everyones names.

3. I'v been adding league logos/teams emblems in and noticed on some a white outline. And example is with this logo.

The background is transparent in Photoshop, and I'v neaten it up a fair bit (thats the original picture above). But there seems to be some white on the bottom and the sides (parts which is straight). This happens on other logos such as Copa del Rey, KNVB beker, FIFA World Cup 2014 (text) and some team ones. Is there a way to stop this? I can take a picture of what I'm talking about.

Who on earth dreamed these up?

EVERY 2 mins one of my players will moan "I'm being played out of position blah blah blah".

I reply EVERY time "I'll change it for next game".

They go away "not unhappy anymore".

For the love of God what's the point? Is this 100 times a season nonsense REALLY meant to make for a better game?

Konami seem to have bought into a "change for change sake" ethos whilst at EA Sports the team work to a "change for improvements sake" ethos....

PES 2012 stuterring a lot all of a sudden

Hey all!
I'll try to keep this brief: Until yesterday, everything was working great. I have Jenkey's Gameplay tool, and my PES version is 1.03. I haven't downloaded the lastest DLC, nor the lastest update. Today, it's lagging/stuttering a lot. During cinematics, during the replay, and during the gameplay. It starts OK, but after a couple of seconds it starts doing that. The funny thing is that when I press ALT + TAB after re-enterring the game, it feels good again for a while and then it starts stuttering. I never payed attention to how much pes2012.exe consumes in terms of CPU, but now it's taking up to 400 - 500kb... as I said, I don't know whether it's normal or not, since I never looked at that before.

As far as I can remember, I haven't changed anything, haven' touched any PES settings, nor Jenkey's tool, neither in my computer in general.

I ran an Online Virus Scan (https://www.virustotal.com) for my PES exe file, and it found no virus.

Hope you can help me.

Gameplay Football: a new promising independent game

Today i tried a new independent football game (GAMEPLAY FOOTBALL) and i have to say that it has good prospects for the future.

I've been tired so long with pes and fifa and Gameplay Football it seems to be a good alternative in football games.

Give it a try. The game is in its first steps so don't judge it for the low graphic quality, the absence of faces, real names etc. Just judge the gameplay and feel free to contact with baz (the man behind this game) and suggest corrections and further improvements.

Winning Eleven 9 Tweaker?

Hi guys,

I've managed to get myself a copy of WE9 Liveware Edition and an option file etc for the latest teams.

I've two questions if you could bare with me :

(1) Despite having a Uber PC the gameplay is very jerky...are there some "known tweaks" that make the gameplay smooth?

(2) Is there a tweaker available? I'd also like to force some custom resolutions etc.

Hey lads, I've got a quick question. Are there classic shorts (the shorter ones like in the picture?!) in PES 5 or PES 6? Perhaps unlockable in the PES shop?

I would love to create some classic teams in one of the older games and to keep things "realistic" ... classic shorts would be great!

Also, are there classic balls (like in the pictures) ingame? Again via PES shop?!

Hi,

after being totally disappointed by 012(with yair etc.) and not being fully happy with 011(yair etc.), 6, 5 and other WE Versions i installed 010 again and its great.

Setup:
• latest DLC and patch
• Kitserver with better LOD, smooths out the animations a bit.
• speeder to 0.90, slows down the game, fixes some ping pong and hectic AI movements and decisions.
• 15min. games, smarter CPU AI, less AI cheating.
• superstar difficulty(less cpu team defence blackouts than on pro., less cpu team ping pong and more attack than top player)
• vsync on via settings.exe(best solution, works better than d3doverrider or catalyst/nvidia)
kind of corrects the game, everything feels solid and at a normal speed
• frame skip off
• render ahead limit/flip queue size 1!, nice response boost
using d3d antilag tool setting it to 2(same as 1 with other tools like ati tray tools, 0 is off 1 is 0 render ahead and 2 is 1 :) )
• AA and AF need to be on application controlled in your grafix settings, game runs best this way, game using its own aa, and if u force af it feels kinda slowish
• dont forget to run every .exe in pes folder with admin rights, and better disable UAC

to do list:
global stats edit do make it even more balanced.
balance stat needs to be globally -
response +
agility +
teamwork +
stamina -
attack +
defence +
and some other things like dribble speed - for strikers
after this game becomes harder and more balanced

and there is gameplay.exe by jenkey, i found on some vietnamese forum, need to check it out
off course there are other great tools like replay tool and cam tools etc.

Dino Dini is the developer behind the original Kick Off, Kick Off 2, Player Manager and GOAL! classic games for Amiga and Atari ST.

He started to make a spiritual successor to these classic games from the 90s, but alas, the project is on hold.
Dino has decided to focus on his musical passion, whilst he still can.
I would like us to continue production of the game using Kickstarter, but I need YOUR help to convince Dino it can be done.

Show your interest in bringing back these great games and convince Dino that there is a market for them!
